Nice bird, Michael! Good job capturing this. Where was this taken? My quick thought is that the bird's wing is brighter than its head. It's probably natural that way due to the way the light shines but I guess my eyes are more attracted to the brighter part of the bird. The shiny OOF leaves on the LR corner is also little distracting.. could use a little burning in those areas?

I'm not on the best monitor, so can't comment on colors and brightness. Pretty good job at ISO-5000 on the 7D2, but at this ISO, hard to get the fine details on the bird feathers.

Lovely pose and stare from a very nice bird. Like the composition as well.
I agree the bright leaves in the lower right corner stand out a bit, and ISO 5000 makes the image a bit soft, but not much you can do about that without missing the shot.
