    Default Forster's tern

Diving Tern. got this frame with the 1DX MK II and 400 DO II + 2X III. Somewhat a boring frame but a good challenge for the AF in this light

Not boring to me. The feet are great. You can see the eye well in the black hood. And I love the placement of the bird against the soft background with the horizon line in just the right place.

Is this from a horizontal original? a

Lovely image, Arash. Much to learn about post processing and image design from studying your image. Thank you for sharing.

I'd like to get a few frames of these "boring" images myself. Love the light, the super exposure, the detail in both blacks and whites, the flared tail and the feet. TFS.

Nice looking frame Arash. I really like the position of the feet in this one and the BG adds to the overall image. Details and exposure look great and the fact that we can see the eye is important. Nice work with the new rig.

Beautifully exposed and perfect image design, I love the way this Tern fills the frame. I particularly like the wing spread and those fancy symmetrical tail feathers. It all works so well, superb IQ and such fine detail on the edges of those lovely soft feathers.
Very thoughtful processing. As always such a pleasure to view! Dear Arash, thank you so much for this

The colors of the BG compliments the white of the tern well. Exposure of the black is just perfecta s you can see the eye in the black hood. Have not tried mine with the 2X yet, but I'm sure it's challenging to get a fast bird. Loi

hey Artie, no it was cropped from horizontal. Bit awkward to hand hold vertical for flight

Great capture Arash the underside view is fantastic, head position and sharp through out with a very colorful graduated BG. The difficulty factor of obtaining this image is to be commended

I think you are doing yourself an injustice Arash that frame looks far from boring to me, it may be repetitive if you have lots like it but those details and colours are excellent. I like the position of the feet and the open bill and the multicoloured background sets it all off very nicely.
