    Love the raised crest. SH and EXP are perfect. So is the image design.

    Just noticed something really funky just below the bird's left (back) wing. Looks like a Clone Stamp mark; is it in the original? a

    Hello Stuart,

    What makes this image for me is the startled pose from the bird with the raised crest and wings wide open - very well captured!

    Framing works well, despite the slightly blotchy appearance of the BG I do like the pastel colours, very much. Head and neck feathers nice and sharp, so are the feet.

    Forgot to mention I like the title, very appropriate. I think your image does do justice to this pretty looking bird, thank you so much for sharing.
