    Pied Flycatcher at pool.
    I think my favourite so far from this year.. Two pairs nesting not far off the garden and as long as its dry they will be using the pool.
    D200 ( back out of hibernation.)
    Nikor 70-300mm F4
    800 ISO 120th sec @f8
    Hide/beanbag
    Slight crop
    PSP- neat image
    Image Guru for H/S
    EV-1 stop
    Couple of highlights in BG removed.

    Anyone would be pleased with this, nice head turn, perfect exposure and I like the ripple rings.
    They are fabulous birds, good stuff.

    Superb image. Really sharp and detailed where it needs to be . Love the fanned out tail-feathers underwater.

    Great pose and look with great detail on the head. I love the water but might be tempted to darken the berry leaves a bit.

    Works for me!! Now I see a tiny tip of a yellow leaf right at the top edge... (One of those Princess and the Pea things.)
