    Default Out in the open

I made the most of a cloudless evening the other day ,now the male is only active at the moment just before dusk ,if i am lucky i may get the last 20 mins or so just before the sun dips.
I do miss out on oporunities of capturing the bird around his territory in order to capture the bird in flight ,i dont get many chances as i cannot keep moving around etc ...taken with the canon 1d mkiv 500mm f4 at f4 1/1250 sec +1/3 ev iso 800 Name: 26391015653_11effb66e4_o.jpg

Well caught Dennis limited DOF but sharp where it counts - nice shot.

Glad to see you're working that new lens with birds in flight. Good pose and I like seeing those talons tucked away. Light was lovely and I love the BG except for the darker line which is pretty distracting. I would try to dodge (lighten) that dark spot. You'd be surprised how much change you can effect here with some dodging.
