    Lovely wader shot Allen. Nice BG/foreground merge. I like the pebbles which keep it ion context.

    Nice shot Allen,bird blends well with that pebble beach,very nice feather detail.Think Sanibel is one of the best places I have ever had the pleasure to visit.

    nice image,good feeding pose,like the shells on the beach they compliment the birds markings,some nice detail and the food in the beak a bonus.TFS.

    Sharp with a nice tidbit in its beak but I am not a fan of all of those seashells. But they do say "Sanibel."

    Lovely light and nice and sharp. Nice seeing the "catch." I like the seashells in this case b/c they really match your bird and I am a fan of adding environment to an image whenever possible. What distracts me here is the slant of the beach. Whenever I have shells or beach debris such as here, I try to clean up the edges a little bit. It adds to the appeal.
