This has a much different feel from the first two, but it's an interesting part of the series. The elements are all appropriate (although it is only because I googled it that I know the flower fits) and represent a wide range of southwest elements. I like how the flower blends into the wall. If you were going to try doing something different with it, I wonder about moving it to the other side of the window.
Wow. Striking image! I like how you selected and arranged the objects. Nice, warm, subtle colors, with that touch of red. The color of the wall and window holds it all together. Nice fade to white border. I admire you for creating this arrangement!
Having lived nearly 40 years in Colorado, which is partly south-west, I love this depiction! Very, very native American with the symbolism and that gorgeous orange adobe color! I would probably leave the flower out, as it is more vague than the rest of the symbols and is less graphic. The blurred frame is a great choice.
Thanks for the comments and perspective. I agree the flower has to go or be replaced -- a good datura is hard to find, as they close up early in the morning.
