    Subject, juicy (but probably not yummy) prey item, and perch all look good. BG colours are nice too (but suffer from odd pixilation - probably due to resizing.). A white line along the bottom edge could be removed.

    Great to see her with supper John and she's holding a nice square on pose for you. I agree the BG seems to have suffered for some reason.

    Lovely little bird... the worm is almost half as big as the bird. I like the perch, color and detail of the bird and worm. Thank you for sharing, John.

    nice image of the stonechat with grub,like the perch,nice detail,I can see some patterns in the BG on my screen,on both images.TFS.

    Thanks guys. I know what it is- I tried to lighten some very dark areas in the BG. Used a lighten brush which I know know is not a good idea !! I have loads more with a better BG but not with the big food item.
