    Captured this Skimmer a few weeks ago in Florida. After cropping, I removed the head of a seagull that photobombed me, just to the right of my watermark. Also, applied NIK Tonal Contrast and Detail Extractor to the bird only, noise reduction to the water, and increased saturation a bit. Reduced for web, and smart sharpening to the bird only.

    D4, 80-400 f4.5-5.6 @ 400 mm, HH, 1/2000 sec, f5.6, iso 400

    Very nice work John, capture and processing. What grabbed me was the eye lit up so well and the beautifully sharp details. BG is a sweet one! bravo!

    Very nicely caught and well processed. In an ideal world the surf would not have bisected the skimmer's wing but it is nevertheless a fine shot.
