This image of a Eurasian Coot feeding in shallow water was created during the late afternoon today at Laratinga wetlands, South Australia. Canon 1D X mark II, EF600mm f/4L IS II USM +2x III, 1/1000, f 8.0, ISO 1250, evaluative metering, central focus point, prone position with Atlas bipod. DPP / CS6, cropped for composition. Comments welcome.

Now that's an interesting head angle. I like the splash and water drops a lot and when added to the HA makes for a very interesting shot. The background colors are very nice as well. Unfortunately, the darkest areas of the coot have lost all detail. A tough shot to get as they are so dark. I'd be tempted to remove the horizontal green leaf in the right foreground.
