    Handheld, native light, 5D3, EF 600 II L IS, TC 1.4 III.
    840mm, f/6.3, 1/4000, ISO 800.
    PP: selective NR & cooling filter for sky, crop.
    Location: Dalmatia, Croatia.

    Just a great BIF shot. Love the sense of speed and the wing position. My only criticism is that the background looks much lighter and more saturated than the bird. I think it would be best to tone down the background some more and lighten the bird so that the amazing colors of this bird are enhanced.

    Great shot ideed Miro. I agree with Isaac re- the background distracting from the bird colours. Maybe enhance the eyelight a bit? A smashing shot whatever.

    Thanks a lot Isaac & John. Agree about BG. It was morning light. I did the final touch on my laptop. Below is the 2nd version (removed cooling filter from BG and added a bit of exposure/tone balance to the bird).

    My first thoughts were the same as John and Isaac, but you RP has already fixed those issues. Otherwise this is a very well captured image, not easy to get good BIF of birds like this.
