Taken at Disney World Animal Kingdom. f5.6, 1/200, ISO 800, Canon 20-D, 100-400mm L @ 365mm. I was quite pleased with this park in my first visit and got lots of nice shots. Of course I forgot the name of the bird. Anybody know what it is?

Based on the orange cap that is barely showing, I think it is a Taveta Golden-Weaver, its commonly kept in collections. A nice looking pic too.

I'm glad Harold weighed in on the ID. Good suggestions by Al. I would definitely want more room around the bird.

    Hi Barry,

I like the bird, pose, and bg. I would lighten it up a bit and I wish for more room around the bird. The image size is quite a bit smaller than the max allowed. In the future it would help if you posted images that were a bit larger.
