    Default Tri-colored Heron

I went to my favorite wetland/marsh Circle B Bar Reserve this morning. I watched this heron dip feeding, trying to capture a decent image. In this image it has just had a go at a fish the it missed in the rearward ripple and is recovering it self for flight. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

    What a great pose.
Love the feet and the water droplets.
I really like the circular ripple patterns in the water that I noticed only after examining the image for a minute or so,
    A very dynamic image.
Just a minor housekeeping issue: I would clone out the little black dots in the water and that tear drop smudge below near wing.

Nice action Joe, love the water droplets and the patterns in the water. Do you have any more canvas in front, I think it could do with a bit more negative space.

Terrific takeoff image Joe. This one really worked out well with your higher vantage point, giving you this great topside view. I like the HA, sharpness of the image, the feet spraying water droplets is very nice. The wing and back details all add to a really nice job.

Great action Joe, liking the busy bird in the calm water. Another vote for adding just a tad more canvas left for balance.

Fantastic looking action shot Joe. One of your best. Lots of great details and the colors look perfect. I don't think the splash is that big of an element in this so I might remove it and add canvas to the left and put the bird on the right of the frame. Very nice

Thanks everyone for viewing, commenting and suggesting improvements. Very much appreciated...

I have made the changes suggested, adding canvas and taking out the black dots. Thanks again all.
