    Carrion Crow at pool no 2
    Not often do you get these guys at 10 foot !Like a lot of stuff though theyb loose their nervousness at water . Don#t know why.

    Nikor 70-300
    800 ISO
    130th sec
    About 70% of frame.
    S/H in Image Guru
    Paint Shop Pro
    Neat image
    Grass looks a bit green but its spring growth.
    couple of bits of white plastic in BG removed. . I know some say its easy with setups as you can tidy up first- not when the bird brings stuff in though !

    Good exposure on the blacks and I like the perky pose with good HA.
    I find the stick to the right of crow quite distracting. You could crop from the RHS to eliminate it or clone it out.

    They only have to tun their body an inch and the whole colour , sheen, and texture can change.

    All good to me John....nice bird too and I like his feather pattern around the ears.
