Blue and brown is almost always good, so you have me hooked at the outset. I like the variability in the blurring, too. To my surprise, there are some curves defined by the birds, and their interaction with the horizontals is a good thing.
Seeing this following your recent intentional-camera-movement blurs makes me aware of the strong difference between the two techniques.

Wow! Have you played with cropping out the FG? It's great as is but I love the abstraction of the birds and the mountains.

The image brings back fond memories. I can visualize where you were standing. I rather like Diane's suggestion.

I do like your blurs! I think it is because they are blurred just a bit and I can still see what the subject is.
I agree with Diane's suggestion, though I suspect you have a reason for including it. It seems at odds with the airy nature of the image.
I might clean up some of the edges where all one sees is a blotch.
I love the soft colors, the abundance of birds covering the entire sky, the colors of the mountains similar to the sky but with different textures and shapes. The touches of black on the wing tips adds a nice touch.

Great capture of the masses of snow geese in Bosque and just the right amount of blur! I also like the idea of removing the brown foreground. But I really like the effect of the birds blending in and mixing with the details of the white snowy mountains in the back. That makes this unique from other Bosque goose blurs.

I think the fg strip is important to ground the image. The blues and whites go together so well. The ss is perfect. If it within your ethics I might clone out some of the wings/birds on the edges.

Thanks everyone for commenting. It's not against my ethics to clone - I think a version that's posted on my website is cloned. I like it cropped also as a more abstract version. And Adhika - Bosque is a magical place to go - I hope you get there.
