I like the image and the colours look fine. I get the impression the capture was overexposed, is it possible to brig the highlights down any further in the raw conversion. I suspect SH (shadows highlights?) has not done the best job for you.

It sounds to me as if you have mixed colour spaces. Is DPP and Photoshop set to Adobe RGB working space. When you save to Web have you ticked Convert to sRGB

I like the light in this image, colors look really good to me. The Goosander pops nicely from the background. My only thought would be some NR on the background. Sorry, don't have any suggestions for what's causing the lightening of your conversions.

The lovely light is what makes this image so appealing.
I would do some NR on the BG.
I like your comp. I see a bit of a blue cast in the whites of the neck. Easy to fix in selectivie coloring>whites> reduce blues.

Hi Chris, good low perspective here, and I like the alert pose fixed on something ahead of her. Comp wise, I would take a bit off the bottom, and it wont harm the image by running a touch of NR on the BG.

Nice pose and colors Chris. Looks pretty noisy in the BG. I like the low perspective and the comp you chose. Well done
