    Default Brown-crested Flycatcher

This handsome flycatcher was a new bird for me, from Tobago in early March. He was kind enough to perch very briefly near the balcony of the Cuffie River lodge where I was seeking shelter from the rain. This is full-frame. A few leaves and twigs were removed.

Beautiful image Bill. I really like the assortment of colors in this little bird, the tilt of its head, and the tiny droplets on the head and bill. IQ looks great to me and the background and falling rain all make for a lovely image.

Super image Bill and fine use of fill in - very subtle but effective.

Yes- very nice Bill. I love flycatchers anyway. Grand subtle colours on this one.Good to see a gentle bit of gradient in the BG.

Love the bird, the head tilt, the rain and the clean BG. Good IQ and nice use of fill flash.
I am not crazy about the "weight "of the perch.
Always nice to get a FF image of a little bird! Improves the details and IQ so much.

Hi Bill, you have nailed the detail and sharpness on this fellow, and I like how you managed to capture the pose with a slight head tilt. The falling rain adds interest, together with some droplets fallen on the Flycatcher.
