Hi Joseph, I love the eye contact and the beautiful details on this stunning owl. I do however find the in focus foliage to the left a little distracting but it doesnt take too much away from a super image. TFS

A great stare and lots of habitat. The bird is nice and sharp. I wonder if a slight crop from the bottom (without cutting his feet off), might reduce some of the distraction.

Hi Joe, love the eye contact here, and great that most of the Owl was captured in the open with that busy BG.

Joseph, eyes are great, but I really like his eyebrows and what appears to be nasal hair. I agree with taking a slice off the bottom. I might also consider taking out the little dark OOF blob on the right.

Thanks everyone for viewing and commenting, very much appreciated. The area of the burrows/nests are overgrown in most cases. The adult owls measure only 7 to 9 inches tall, the young smaller. So at times difficult to get clean images which leads to working the vegetation/environment into the image. Thank again everyone.

Joe, I had no idea these owls were so small. Well done on this capture in that habitat!
