    I want to love this image, but I feel the OOF tree is so dominant in the frame that it detracts from your awesome owl. I like the vegetation, the BG and the look of the owl however. A vertical may be worth a try.

    really cool owl! nice eye contact. maybe darkening the tree a bit and adding a green tint to it would help it be less dominant

    Hi,thanks all for the input,some good pointers ,this is a bit of a WIP at the moment.
    While the Bird is still in is wary mode ,as it is still early in the season ,i will be trying for these type of shots .
    I do have a few more from a few days sessions and i will be going through them soon to see if i can improve on them.

    Very nice image indeed but I agree on some of the advise given above.
