Nice one Jon. Great background. Just the way I like 'em. I would crop a bit tighter.
Not sure about the "droopy" blossoms though.?

Another sweet looking shot Jonathan. The pose, flower, Bg and details all look great but I also find this one underexposed a bit and it looks like it has a bit of cast to it.

I adjusted the tone, levels, color and sharpness. I also tightened up the comp a bit. Like you mentioned in your last post, you shouldn't let your less than ideal lighting limit your final product.

I have never seen one in real life but this is what my eye wants to see. Not sure what you think?

What a difference. I knew there was a lot to work with in the original!!! The new crop is exactly what I was thinking. I might also try a tad of dodging the catchlight you already have.

Thanks for the feedback everyone, much appreciated. David thanks for taking time to do a repost I am frequently in a dilemma over posting as near to reality as possible and finding a balance with a more visually appealing rendition. I now have my monitor calibrated and checked, I offer a repost, I think this is better.

Much better Jonathan. Looks like you have gotten rid of the color cast and I like the cleanup job on the beak.

I would really like to see what others are seeing in the repost.
I still find it a bit dark on my calibrated 5K monitor so if anyone would like to chime in with your observations, that would be helpful. Or maybe I am so used to sunny shots, and you are so used to overcast shots, our eyes and minds work differently
    Nice work as always

A lovely pose of a nice bird, with good bg and flowers. David addressed the issues I had with the OP, and I like his repost. I also find pane#5 a bit on the dark side, but you were there and we weren't.
