Male and Female Mountain Bluebirds were incubating a nest in an old dead tree in Rocky Mountain National Park. The female would come out, call the male and he would usually come to her side with some bit of food. If he showed up empty beaked, she would go get her own and he would wait until she returned. In this shot he had arrived without a treat, and she was just preparing to leave.

Great to have both in the frame and good head angles, too. As mentioned, they look soft and it seems the camera focused in front of the birds on the piece of the perch that is broken off. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations on capturing them both and to have eye contact with them both. I agree about the softness and the angle appesrs a bit steep. Many thanks for sharing Joe.
