Delightful owl study Prabir. Good background in my opinion and I like the way the two perch branches converge down onto the centre of the foreground. Nice and sharp too. Masybe tone down the whites on the right chest but no big deal really.

I like the alert pose and the cute eyes! Perfect eye contact. The gaps in the BG are distracting a bit and I wish you had s better perch it's a bit busy especially with the OOF part

The fixed stare and the eye contact is great ,think I might try to darken the brighter bits in the bg a bit, that apart I do like what you have captured.

Hi Prabir, gorgeous eyes, but can only echo Arash's feedback/observations.

No idea how far you can push the ISO on the 7D, but more SS would be better, don't fall into the trap of low SS as images suffer.

Steve, thanks for your views. 7Dmk2 can be pushed up to ISO- 1600 without problems. One can go even further, provided the crop is not too much.
This was just a chance encounter. I never expected these owls here. There was so much crowd around on a Sunday morning. The birds were a bit scared. So I had to make do with whatever perch they had. But right, I could have gone a bit higher on the ISO to get a better SS. Thanks again.
