Very appealing environmental shot of this sandpiper. If you haven't already, I'd be tempted to brighten the bird's flank, and darken the light rocks in the bg.

The thumbnail does not do the image justice, I too like the habitat. Yes to darkening the brighter rocks just a bit. Good comp. Maybe some NR to the BG...
