    Default A successful Fish .......

....... even though its really really tiny. I found this file that I hadn't processed. This Malachite Kingfisher gave us a show diving off this perch, trying his luck on fishing and returning to the perch. The BG is actually water, and sadly its totally dry now due to the severe drought that SA has experienced. Taken in the Pilanesberg National Park.

Stu - What amazing and vivid color in that nice warm light that has become your trademark. That is one tiny fish. Love the about to land pose. Here's hoping you get some rain. The drought must be tough on both people and animals.

    TFS,
    Rachel

Everything to like about this one. Beautiful light, lovely colors, nice perch and bg, and great timing just before touchdown. I suppose a split-second earlier he had his wings open?

Great timing here, vivid colors indeed. I see a little noise in the plumage. I'd crop it tighter. TFS.

Hi Stu, pretty cool image, love the fact you have a hint of space between feet and perch, great colours too.

Wonder if going 16x9 (or 10) pano, may also be an option, loosing space above but keeping the width?

What a cool frame Stu. The colors are awesome and I like the perch and BG. Wish for a better wing position but still great none the less. Well done
