    Small Pratincole in golden light and sun visible in the eye..(Pink catchlight)....Hope you like it..
    Exif: Canon 7D +420mm,F/7.1,iso 1000, 1/2500s,handheld,no flash,from boat,Dec'15.

    Very nice light on this beautiful little guy. Great details and exposure too. Never seen a pink catch light, pretty cool.

    I was wondering what had gone on with the eye until I read your description - nice touch! A very nice result from the low light that sun must have produced.

    I've never seen this species...how cute it is!! I love the head angle with the subtle upward tilt. I also love the fact it is standing at the top of the little mud mound. The red at the base of the bill is so very neat too. Well done overall...the only thing I could see better is to have a bit of a looser composition, but I still like it as is.
