What a great looking sandpiper, and love that calling pose with the raised wings. You had perfect muted light and a super BG. Wish the perch didn't have the back piece, but such is life.

Hi Karl,I'm a big fan of Waders on posts and do like this one with it's open wings and calling pose,I,m fine with that nice weathered post and the complementary backdrop, very nice indeed.

Super image Karl, love the pose and the background. I actually really like the perch, creates a complimentary pattern, which I find pleasing. Tfs

Classic Uplands Sandpiper pose, I love it. Nice and sharp, and pretty good BG too. The post is nicely weathered - I just wish the extra part to it was not there or smaller...but I'd take an Uplands on pretty much anything!

Terrific calling pose from this Uppie. Lovely BG. I like the perch -- the only problem is that because of the left hand part you were pretty much forced to include more perch than you probably would have otherwise. But I'd love to have this one in my files. Am I seeing a slight magenta cast?

Beautiful BG colors, lovely focus on the subject and perfect pose by the Upland. Well done.
