    Default Lesser Yellowlegs leg-stretch

From an abandoned cranberry bog in 2014. I liked the way the stretched toenail was just touching the water.

Its certainly an interesting leg position Bill, and to be honest I can't make up my mind about it. That said, I don't think there's an alternative crop there that I can think of.

Nice details, I think it could take a small CCW rotation - not too much but the reflections don't quite match.

I like the stretched leg, the light and the low angle. sharp. Would put more room below and move him slightly to the left

Thanks guys. Mike, maybe my screen is crooked, but to me the bird is precisely aligned with his reflection.

Arash, the water was covered with muck right below where I cropped; but I could and probably should move him a bit to the left.

It is a little bit centered as it mentioned but an excellent image none the less, Bill.

Ditto what Arash had to say about the comp, however, this pose is simply not one of my favorites on any bird except sometimes when the wing and leg are fully extended. I do however feel it would be stronger with more room for the virtual feet and moved to the left of the frame.

Not sure how I would go about cropping this with all room needed to include that long leg,do like the pose and the bird is nice and detailed and sharp.

Love the stretch, Bill. Nice lean and fine detail. BG works beautifully.
