Single photo of a Camargue horse in his natural habitat and cattle egret. Mirrored, then cloned out horse on one side, flipped vertical then polar coordinates. Scaled and masked duplicate layers with color fill layers intervening. Thought a long time about a title... came up whimsical. ;-) Thanks for looking.

    Cheers,

I'm not sure if it's because the horse and egret are so small in relation to the image or because their light color contrasts with the darker colors or if it's something else, but this is entrancing. I do know that I like that the horse is almost to the top. Part of that could be visual but there might also be an element of The Little Engine That Could. I like the title, too.

Excellently done. I love how the light is on the horse and bird, causing me to look right at them. I like their placement on the circle. The dark colors work really well. I especially like the various textures in each color. Wow!

Michael - this is elegantly whimsical. Did you intend for it to look like an eyeball? It adds to the whimsy - the Camargue horse and the egret (and the refection of the horse) are the icing on the cake. I would remove the one small vertical purple line on the left outside of the "eye".

Nothing to add to the above statements except Well done. The more I look at it, the more I see. It's entrancing that way.
