Theme: The Planet of Mingo
Greetings. Caught the mini-world bug ;-)

Combined 3 images. A solitary flamingo in flight Flipped rotated, blended form the outside framework (wings extending inward, beaks near the corners of the puffed out square formed by the legs). Interior sphere from a mini-world treatment of a pano of flamingos in water with an image sphere overlaid for tone. Some mask toning by hand.
Thanks for looking.

This is the fun of miniworlds.. Who would guess flamingos and yet there they are. Well done. Like the way the wings form the interior points vs the rounded "bumps" on the outside. Nice color.

Oh, my goodness . . . It's wonderful to look at and even more amazing when one knows what the components are. The color and design are both great, and I like the very subtle blue rays at the corners.

WOW, that is certainly an attention-getter! Very creative. I would never have thought a bird could be turned into a mini-world. Love it!

Wow! Great job in organizing and creating this mini-world within a mini-world! I totally love how the flamingos turned out in the outer ring, with their wings pointed in and the heads still identifiable. The outside rays add a great dynamic.
Just understood the title...very good derivation on fla...mingo!

This is really spectacular. I love the various shapes, the brilliant colors. Excellent darks and lights. I like that I don't think of flamingos when I look at it. Looks like it could be in a movie.
Didn't get the title until reading Nancy's post.
Excellent work! That blue is to die for.....
