Shorebirds are my favorite so right away you won me over. This is a species I have very little experience with so I like it even more. I very much like the low angle and the raised foot. The head turn is great as well. Nice sharpness and colors. If I were being super picky I could say that I would love to see that back foot and perhaps a bit more saturation. Not only would I love if this photo were mine, I would be happy just with seeing the bird this well. The photo would be the icing on the cake.

Very nice details and low shooting angle, Bill, I love the little Snowies. He does look like he's sneaking off somewhere, the raised foot really helps out. I never seem to be able to find them with any background other than sand, so I like this blue background.

A superb image . I love the raised foot and the head angle which combined add to the cuteness of this lovely bird. Nice work indeed!

    Dear Bill,

Love what you captured here, the little Plover seems as delicate as a snowflake. That raised foot, treading carefully, along with the "sneaky look" make this image for me.

Well exposed and I love the creamy colouring of the feathers. As well as the POV. Image well processed and good sharpness, lovely detail, great techs.

I will try find some of my images of our local plovers for you, I think they are about as pretty as your subject here - such a delicate little bird!

    Kind regards,
    Gabriela Plesea
