    Going through some old files, I found a bunch of Plovers, and other shorebirds, that I've never posted. I'll share a few of them in the coming days, beginning with this juvie Piping Plover from Plum Island in 2013.

    Low point of view works nicely and BG compliments the subject

    It's cute! I love the separation between the subject/"perch" and the BG. Whites look good, the composition well balanced. I also love the grains of sand on the bill.

    Nice looking frame Bill. Exposure looks good and I like the feather details. Great subject isolation too. A little noise in the shadow on the breast but besides that all looks good. Nice work

    Well done Bill, great feather detail and what a cool subject. Like the low angle. If anything, I guess a better head angle would improve this slightly. TFS

    Very nice low angle and I really like the fore- and background. Super details int he white plumage and nice composition too. Great work.
