A slight change from the Arctic variety I have recently been posting, a pair of Wild Dogs (African painted Dogs) from the 'Hunting' pack Rachel and I encountered one day. Several dogs would like to join in the the various antics that ensued in the water, so it was nice to get just two 'sparring' on their own. Light was bright, but still meant pulsing the EV for the Blacks/Shadows.

Great action here, Steve! Can imagine the memory cards filling up fast with this sighting...
Nice timing and exposure - could even shave more off the RHS for a full square crop?
Hi Steve - It's great that you were able to isolate the 2. There was so much going on at the sighting. You handled the light well. I like the kicked up water an action. In an ideal world perhaps a bit more room on top but I know in the chaos it was hard to really compose and capture the action.
Hi Steve -- Superb action shot ! Liked the way you have handled the light and in the process produced a lovely action image . I agree with Morkel's crop suggestion , a find it a bit too much on the RHS .
You really caught the action on this one Steve with it being in the water makes it more exciting ,cropping looks a bit difficult with all that splashing water, great piece of action work.
Wonderful action captured here Steve, and a well exposed frame despite some harsh light.
I would so love to see those wild dogs playing like this! The water spray adds so much to this already exciting image! The tip of the tails suggests playfulness and a cheerful, almost celebratory mood.
Just lovely, I thoroughly enjoyed viewing, a bit jealous of you and Rachel having witnessed this
