From last spring, while I was set up watching a sandhill crane nest . A pair of Great Horned Owls were hanging around the pond that morning, which got the resident pair of Red-shouldered Hawks in an uproar. This is shot as the hawk banked over one of the owls trying to chase it off.

1d MkII, 500 w.1.4, 1/1600 sec, f/8, ISO400, slight crop from left and bottom to improve comp.

A nice diagonal comp here Jason.. The hawk screaming is a bonus. Sky looks a tad washed out. Maybe add a little saturation to the sky.

Dale expressed my thoughts perfectly. I would love to see this with a little more saturation. Beautiful flight image .

Very nice image, Jason. Looks like a ton of detail. My only nit would be a little brighter?
