    Default long-billed dowitcher - dinner

Looks like my favorite activity lately is crawling in the mud. An image from a few weeks ago.

Hi Lorant, lovely low angle, and I like that we can see the food item in the bill. Good feather detail showing up, and the light looks nice and soft. The colour of the BG complements the the Dowitcher very well. I would maybe remove the lower catchlight.

Good one Lorant I love that BG. Reminds me of something but I can't think what. ! Grand transition between BG and FG.

Great low (muddy) POV. I like the open bill and food item, and the simple color palette. I'd remove the second catchlight, even if naturally caused. Maybe a tiny bit more sharpening?

Great looking frame Lorant. I agree with all the pros and cons. Just a bit more sharpening and clean up the catch light and this one is done, well done!

Thank you for the comments, guys. I really appreciate the input.
I am not sure regarding the second catch light. It is absolutely natural, so I feel like it is part of the picture. Of course I can remove it.
    Thanks again.
