    This is such a great plant! The color of the sand and the green of the plant work very well and you've managed to capture all the details. Great sharpness due to the stacking. As for your self critique: I do think the sand looks goofy. It seems that you did not stack all the way through to the end of the sand, but stopped after having the whole plant done. Because of that, there is a very unnatural drop in sharpness of the sand over a very short distance behind the plant. Also, some parts of the sand in the FG are sharp while other parts are not. Seems you missed a step there. On the right hand side, I see a lot of repetition of the same pattern. Normally one would see that with careless cloning of the sand, but since you say this is out of camera, I think the software is to blame.
    I'm wondering whether you could have captured this without stacking?

    You are absolutely right. I am going bto tryb this again. Its very hard with a small round pot with sand on the top but I am ndetermined to get it right in the end !!
