Great timing and impeccable image. The physics confuses me - is it part of a flipping procedure? Thank for sharing. Ihtisham

Hi Karl, good low perspective here, and well timed to have captured the feeding behaviour - thats a fairly large crayfish for a meal. The light looks bit harsh, but well exposed on the head. You could maybe try and tease out a bit more detail on the wing and back. I do like the blues of the water.

Karl it's marvelous how they deal with such large and hard prey but that bill looks like it was designed for the job, great low action with good detail and sharpness on the bird.

Great capture Karl. Everything looks good to me. Love the expression on the birds face as it grabs the crab. Next time get a better HA on the crab

    Well done

Very impressive behavior and action captured, Karl. Love that both subject and prey are on perfect angle!!!
