Good pose and eye contact James! Curious why you chose f/16? One thing it's good for is that you can see all the dust spots on your sensor! ;) Your flash was set to manual, but it looks like a little more flash output would have helped here. Thanks for posting!
I was thinking the same Doug !! Couldn't figure out the f stop !!! Lots of light needs to be thrown for that setting
Do like the high key. Don't think there is enough light on the bird, tail looks dark. Like the pose and framing very much !!!!! btw did not see exp comp For this image should have been + a few and the bg rendered basically white !!!
