    Glossy Ibis
Location: Marievale Bird Sanctuary, Nigel, South Africa

This small, slender ibis occurs on every continent except Antarctica. In southern Africa it is a locally common resident and nomad at dams, lakes, estuaries, pans and flooded grasslands, and is in my opinion our most attractive ibis.

I like the low angle and the raised foot, the ibis looks a touch bright to me (especially legs and feet) but you got the nice iridescent colors. I wish the FG was a bit cleaner

A lot of nice color on the Ibis, and I love the raised foot. I might be tempted to darken the background a tad.

Over all a pleasing image of a stunning bird. We have Glossy Ibis here in Florida, and they are definitely a bit darker here. Love the raised foot and colorful BG. FG is what it is but the bird still stands out nicely and you got down nice and low which accentuates the bird.
