    Default Common Tern

It's interesting how much time Common Terns spend stealing fish from each other. This was one of the maneuvers to get away from two other terns chasing this one. At full size you can even see the eye of the fish. :) Photographed on the Connecticut shore yesterday morning.

Nice banking pose and good detail in the underside wings.

It works well Axel. Did you create this photographing vertically or is it cropped from a horizontal?

Hey Axel, excellent underwing view here! Everything looks good, and the all-important catchlight is there to show the eye. Funny how the feet are almost completely tucked into the underside's feathers :-)

They are so silly, though, the minute they catch a fish they advertise the fact to the whole beach, so....

Excellent banking with a perfect exposure!
