Should I have saved this one for Halloween? This scary looking chick appears to have a very bad disposition with sharp fangs to go along with it! I look forward to your comments- thanks for looking. :)

I'm glad you didn't wait until Halloween. Great pose, light, setting and BG. The open bill and hairdo make it even better. Looks like a high-maintenance chick. :) Thanks for sharing!

    Hey Shawn,
Beautiful picture, i like the expression on the chick and it really stands out against a nice BG.

Darn scary. I like how you captured this with the sun-drenched BG and fill-flash on the bird in shade.

    Hi Shawn,
Great colors in this one and I like the "bowl" of greenery at the bottom. I like the open bill but the point of the top beak gets lost to my eye at this side. I imagine it looks better/more distinct at full size?

Ha! I like this alot...lots of personality in this image :-) The sort of psychedelic BG goes well with this bird's demeanor!

Hahaha, killer, love the framing provided by the foreground and the golden background.

Lovely BG and behavior. The FG does not bother me at all and you did well with the fill.
