    Default Tri-colored Heron hybrid

Dottie and I went to a rookery not too far from our house today. I captured this image of what appears to be a Tri-colored Heron crossed with a Snowy Egret. The blue color on the bill is definitely Tri colored during breeding, also the white plume off the head. Yet the predominate color of the bird is white to greyish white with a smattering of grey spots. Comments and critique welcomed and appreciated. Thank you for viewing.

Here is another hybrid that I captured at Circle B Bar Reserve that appears to be Snowy Egret/ Tri-colored Heron Cross, with the predominance being Snowy Egret. Them birds have been messing around....

Are you sure this isn't just a immature Little Blue Heron?

This picture really does appear to have traits from both species mentioned! Nice find! This photo really brings that out well!
