What a lovely image of this sweet little bird. I love the background. And the comp. There seems to be fine feather detail on the mantle and breast, so I don't think it suffered much from the kitchen window, but I'd be tempted to hit the head area with a bit of selective sharpening. And maybe remove a few cut-off blossoms along the top and bottom edges.

Pretty setting although too much distractions on the left for my taste. The bird needs sharpening.

I love the bird. Needs more sharpening on the head I think. I find it also busy, but I still like it. TFS.

Here's a repost. I think I may have overdone it ? As a matter of interest there was no sharpening at all on the original.

Yes, the RP is very nice John. The colours on the bird look good against the BG and the flowering perch.

Thanks both. Seem to have got the cast problem sorted. Some subtle camera setting I think.

Now your image is So pleasing. Love the environment. It could use a tad more sharpening.

Yes, this may be slightly OTT; but Pane #6 is just lovely.

Thanks both. Confirmed more or less what I thought so my gear must be near enough I reckon.
