    Default Black-bellied Plover

This BBPL in non-breeding plumage was just about the only bird on the beach on a visit in November. The image has a Florida-like feeling to me, because of the light sand and the blue-green of surf beyond. But no, this is New Jersey. And there was no PP beach cleanup done to the image.

    D7200, 500f4 + 1.4 TC, ISO 800, 1/1000s @ f/7.1 manual.

[note: the uploaded image looks somewhat less sharp than my jpeg on my computer. I don't know if this is an issue others have had recently.]

Grand little wadser shot Bill. Love the almost invisible BG/FG transition. Might brighten the eye a teeny bit but no biggie.
    Good stuff.

I agree on the sharpness, but what a nice POV and color palette.

The pastel colors are so pleasing here. Just wish the bird weren't so centered.
