Hi Geoff. Lovely gentle colour of the bird stands out well against the BG with just a tiny hint of gradation in it.
    Pleasing shot.

Hi Geoff, saw this bird a few times on my Tobago trip but not through the lens i'm afraid, nice pose on the bird and good detail, all looks good against that nice smooth BG.

This was a new one for me as well. The bird has a good pose and head turn, and is nicely composed in the camera. Her color works very will with the lovely green background. Just out of curiosity I tried a copy with just a tiny bit of additional sharpening, especially on the head, and a layer of Efix Tonal Contrast at the default setting of 25-50-25-20, with the layer opacity at 25%. I liked the result, but it's probably personal preference. Nice one.

Keith, After I responded I realized had see your images of the Mot-Mot and Jacamar. Pretty much we took day trips from the Asa Wright Nature Center on Trinidad, and from Cuffie River Nature Retreat on Tobago.
