    Stonechat
    Driving down a farm track and this fella popped out of ahedge onto a sandy bank. Completely out of place for a stonechat
    D200 Sigma 50-500mm
    640 ISO
    160th f8
    contrast down 1 in camera.
    ev minus one stop
    Bean bag on car sill.
    small crop. Couple of white highlights in back removed

    Nice shot, John. The background compliments the bird. I would use highlight shadow on the bird only to bring out more detail.

    Hi John, colours look good in your OP, and lovely complementary colours between the Chat and the BG. I feel you have over done it in your RP. With the light coming from the front, not much you can do on the side of the body, and its fine as posted.
