    Default Sanderlings

An image of last year that I pretty much ignored on first sight. Then this week, something got me to revisit it and process it. Anyone thinking that this blog post by Daniel Cadieux is the "something" would be 100% accurate.. :)

This works really well due to the near identical poses and the second bird being pleasingly out of focus without becoming distracting.

I think it just needs a small CW rotation.

Nice image with double effect, sort of like an echo. Agree about the rotation. I find the bg bird's left leg a bit distracting. Right leg ok and expected. Thanks for sharing. Ihtisham

Thanks for the plug, glad it was an inspiration!

I like the dual feeding poses, and just the right amount overlap on the juxtaposed sanderlings. Good exposure, sharp. I like the low angle too. Yes to some CW rotation, and perhaps a touch less canvas at right.

I like the juxtaposition. Wish to have the birds more to the right, so I would take some off of the right and bottom if it were mine.
