    Default THeme: Point of Impact

    Folks,

Greetings. Still out walking, but did work this one up.

Started with a processed photo of a wave sans reflection that I posted a while back. Mirrored laterally, then the miniworld thing (scaled to square, polar coords), SEP toning, Impression texture (light blended Da Vinci), detailing.

    Thanks for looking.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

The wave was a great starting point, and I like the mirror symmetry you used. The irregular outline, especially at the top, is a real plus. I might tone down the very center with a pale blue, but I like this very much.

Interesting. Looks like a happy face in the darker blue area. These are fun, aren't they

I love the colors as blue is my favorite. The textures add interest.
If I understand your walking correctly, you are putting in walking miles in your area that correspond to the miles it would take to get to NYC?

    Dennis, Hazel, Anita,

Thanks much for your comments. They are much appreciated.

Anita, yep. My fitbit keeps track of all the steps I take (even if just walking around the house) and I've been adding up how far since New Years toward walking from Santa Cruz to NYC. Have to average about 8 miles a day (every day) to make it by New Years.

    Cheers,

    -Michael-

Interesting! Having a such a goal probably is a great motivator.
