Another image shot while being with Carl.

Angle of view a bit high, but she was not in the mood to accept us lying on the ground and trying to get a LA shot.
Here again shooting ETTR bit me, shooting +0,3EV, I almost blow HL, as the source of light came from top left of image.
Loved the content, tried to salvage.

    Nikon D3S with 300F4
    1/1250 @ 7,1
    ISO 400
    Pattern metering
    +0.3EV

LR did not work?- soft on import into PS? Camera Neutral profile actually softened( reduced contrast?)
Redid in ACR with Adobe profile.
About 30% crop for comp & gardening.
Some TK layer on Lights& darks, MT
    Reduced contrast on BG
    D&B
    Sharpened for web.
    WDYT?
    Regards

    Andre.

Hi Andre, with a pose like that, she doesnt look too happy, and she looks like a pretty powerful lioness with that size head. Comp works well, and you have done well with the overall exposure due to the light angle.

Hi Andre - What a fierce look she gave you! Pano crop works and the colors and tones look good. Seems like you had some nice sightings and opportunities while with Carl. Looking forward to more.

    Rachel

Hi Andre -- What a look ! These big cats are experts in giving such a look ! the high angle is not a problem here . You have got a nice sharp image with good details . Overall the image looks good to me .

    TFS !

Nice image Andre. I seem to remember that she did that perhaps when we were all clicking away and the noise of the shutters may have irritated her. That is why I stopped shooting for a while just to watch and observe for a while. Probably why you guys got better shot than I did

    She's irritated alright!
I like the pose and expression, but feel you can add some midtone/tonal contrast to her face and possibly body as well?
