Very nice one, Keith. You captured the colors very well, with a good pose, and I like the background. I like your perch better than the one I posted. I might be tempted to clean up the multiple catchlight a bit, although I realize it's the result of the light coming through openings in the forest canopy.
Hi Keith, lovely pose with a good HA, and I do like the colours on this fellow. Nicely separated from the BG, and I like the dirty beak from his hard work.
I wish I had thin perches like these ones in your image.![]()
Thanks Marina and Stu,Bill pleased you noticed the catch lights did try to remove them but made a real mess, will see what else I can find from my trip.
Keith.
Hi Keith, great to see you posting from further a field, nice to get the opportunity to shoot different things in far away places.
Not much more to add to the above, but was this shot portrait or landscape, if the later I might suggest another option.

Steve
Take your point Steve but personally I like the horizontal perch with it's broken end.
Thanks Keith.
Lovely looking frame Keith. love the BG, the leaves, and the detail on the bird is superb. Oh for light like that
Will
Cheers Will, the light was under the the forest canopy so well pleased with the results.

Sorry misunderstood Steve will look.
