    One from last year
.Had some good news today.. Landowner farmer rang up to say one bird was back. Won't know if its one of the adults or chicks. Only one chick survived last year anyway due to magpies, We shall see. We have put 4 nest boxes up as there have been building works done on the barn where they nested. I,ll probably leave them to get on with it anyway.

Hi John, A diamond and rust. I really like an image like this; the perch is not natural but it is part of the owl's habitat and the reality of the world in which we live. The subject is a beauty and I too like the inquisitive countenance of the little guy; like the BG too. steve

    Thanks Steve
Thats the beauty of a farmyard situation. You can stick your hide in the middle and work from all sides because of the multitude of artifacts that are laid about. And its always changing.
